I see Peter David has made enemies in the manga world too. He was
accused of much the same sins when he worked for Marvel comics. He can
also be a major league a**hole if you dare to criticise his work and
   "re-interpretations".

My fun "Spot the Ledoux" game happens when watching the dub of
Inu-Yasha. If the dialog makes my skin crawl, I can guarantee with 100%
accuracy Trish Ledoux's name is in the credits. When the dialog is not
only acceptable, but borders on being faithful and well-written, her
name is rarely in the credits, and of 2 such episodes with Ledoux's name
on it, she was always credited in thed 2nd position.

   Ledouxism: "Sacred jewel shards"
Every other adaptation team: "Shikon shards"

I find it annoying when they find a really good translator/adaptor
person or team and they can't or won't let them do the whole series.
GTO is the closest exception I've seen.
