   Well - that was the propaganda of the time and both left and right wing   
   extremists love to lap up their respective propagandas.  In practice though   
   Japan was actually trying to replace the Western Colonial powers.   
      
   Japan has always had a superiority complex, but mixing them with western   
   colonial powers who had institutionalised their own superiority complex and   
   it was like throwing magnesium in water.
