   Perhaps the Del Rey translations were very accurate.  The David and Ledoux   
   adaptation touches which resulted in the final product, on the other hand,   
   were so glaringly obvious that I could have spotted all of them without   
   any other help.  Just having the speaker at Negi's graduation who was   
   presenting the diplomas saying, "And remember:  A charmed life is a happy   
   life" in the very first panel of the very first page was enough to set the   
   alarms off.  Then, and only then, did I look for my copies of the   
   scanlations.
