   Today, NHK reported a huge classic music boom that "Nodame   
   Cantabile" made. This is the third time I heard about the significant   
   influence of the manga on the boom. The report said that 600   
   thousand DVDs of collections of excerpts of various classic music   
   pieces had been sold, while 10 thousand was usually a big hit in   
   the classic music industry. The DVD of "Chiaki Shinichi conducts   
   R* Orchestra; Brahms/ Symphony No.1" has sold 50 thousand   
   copies already even though the real name of the players are hidden.   
   Some DVD shops have a Nodame corner where they sell DVDs   
   that have some of 120 music peices the manga introduced.   
      
   I wonder if some anime studio is planing to adapt the manga into   
   a TV series. I think Stanislav Bunin can be a perfect pianist for   
   Noda Megumi. I don't know if he still lives in Japan though.
