From: tjardine@cfl.rr.com              Brevard county in Florida, article in local newspaper re: American Teenage       girls eat up Japanese manga.              http://www.floridatoday.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20051227/       IFE/512270332/1005              note that although there are categories of manga [per Florida Today anyway]       for Women, teenagers, pre and teen girls, and pre and teen boys, apparently       men in Japan don't read manga, so men in America are not expected to read       manga (I guess). The article in the paper started off as a front page of       Life section three quarter page article illustrated with the Sailor girls       Moon, Mars, Mercury, and Venus. Not too bad for an area with about 200,000       people in the county.               Inu-Yasha        Feh!!              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
