   I like to thank ADV for providing me the incentive to learn Japanese   
   because of their butchery on Azumanga Daioh.  I get the impression most   
   people who watched it dubbed or read the English manga don't understand   
   why it's so funny.  I can't blame them. >_<;   
      
   ADV well and truly wasted a lot of potential on this series with Vol. 1   
   of the manga and the entire anime dub which was done by the "reliable"   
   cast, and not a good one. >_<;;   
      
   The English version of the manga improves w/ vol. 2 and is almost   
   acceptable by volume 3.  And I think "fugghedaboutit" just doesn't   
   capture the funny of "nan de ya ne".
