        And I thought "loud and with attitude" was the stereotype of anime girls   
   in general, not just anime U.S. girls.  It seems to me that more often than not   
   the main female character is a screamer.  Kasumi of "Pokemon" automatically   
   comes to mind.  Also Fuu from Samurai Champloo.
