   Which to me, defeats the whole purpose of when I go to Akihabara--   
   namely, getting completely and gloriously lost (though it's not a   
   large district, and I usually end up finding the train station okay),   
   finding shops selling stuff you won't find in the US, which ranges   
   from peripherals designed to teach you how to play guitar (possibly   
   forerunners of the Guitar Hero game?) to N-gen cellphones to soft-core   
   porn.  Though with the porn, the interesting thing about it wasn't   
   the content, it's that it was sitting on the street level, open to the   
   world, right next to a really nifty camera shop.
