   Can anyone recommend a volume of YKK that shows it off to good advantage?   
      
   Since everybody seems to love it, I once bought a random tankoubon to   
   check it out, but whichever volume I read sucked -- no apparent plot,   
   annoyingly bad art, unappealing characters, boring setting, and   
   absolutely nothing that made me want to read any more.   
      
   Still, I have this feeling like I'm missing something; is this one of   
   those books that takes 5000 pages before you start getting it?
