   I think I may've forgotten to mention this in my original post, but --

   My intention is only to do reviews on licensed manga in the R1 market
   (there seem to be plenty of people out there who comment on scanlated
   manga/non-licensed manga). But, I guess I forgot to mention the reasons
   I was thinking about doing this. ^_^;;;

   I feel the R1 market for manga is currently oversaturated and that it's
   become very hard to decide what to buy and what to pass on when you have
   a limited amount of funds.

   I recently went to Waldenbooks and basically had to throw down about 200
   usd to catch up on *most* of the series I was behind on after the xmas
   holiday (note it was buy 3 get 1 free, plus an additional 10% off the
   whole order, plus two 25% off one item coupons -- I really wanted to
   take advantage of that sale ^_^;;;;). And if that number makes my eyes
   glaze over when I'm standing at the register, I can't imagine what it
   must be like for people who don't have as much disposable income as I
   do -- gotta be more picky about what you do buy.

   But how do you know what's worthwhile and what sucks? I guess I'm just
   trying to help with that question.

   >> Any ideas what I can do to make it more useful? A series rating perhaps?

   >least one more series by this same writer.

   Unfortunately, Takada Rie only has one other manga series released in
   R1, which is _Wild Act_. I was also planning to mention other manga in
   the same general genre/style, but nothing came immediately to mind at
   the time I wrote this one up. There seem to be a lot more [shoujo]
   romantic dramas licensed in R1 than [shoujo] romantic comedies. I
   really should pour through my mangalist and see if I can't come up with
   another similar [shoujo] romantic comedy by a different author.

   Are you saying to compare it to the other series listed in the
   "similar/related series" section, or am I misreading your statement?
   ^_^;;

   >Alas, I've already cleared the original post, so I can't remember if
   >you told us whether this was a book form, or currently running in a
   >magazine, and if so which one.

   It's 5 volumes of manga/graphic novel in R1.

   >If book form, you might mention which if any magazine it originally

   >look in used book places.

   You mean which Japanese magazine it ran in? Do you think that would be
   useful for English/R1 manga reviews?
