|    Kimonos on the right    |

XPost: rec.arts.anime.misc       From: arromdee@green.rahul.net              I recall finding out that Vampire Princess Miyu wears her kimono on the right       because wearing a kimono that way signifies death.              Only, every picture of Miyu I can dig up on the net shows the kimono the same       way as everyone else's.              I've watched out for this in other places. I haven't seen any kimonos on the       right in Bleach, or on Botan in YYH, where one might expect it.              Was I imagining it? Is there any case where Miyu (or another character       associated with death) wears a kimono with the right side on top of the left?       Or was this a rumor based only on bad translated manga flipping?       --        Ken Arromdee / arromdee_AT_rahul.net / http://www.rahul.net/arromdee              "You know, you blow up one sun and suddenly everyone expects you to walk       on water." --Samantha Carter, Stargate SG-1              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
