   Way back when you were posting your Japanese Cultural Details in Anime &   
   Manga to rec.arts.anime, the precursor to the Companion, you used Metal   
   Fighter Miku as a reference for many cultural details.  It made me get the   
   series, one of the great offerings from the now defunct Software Sculptors.   
   It turned out to be a great series both for the cultural references as well   
   as for the anime itself.
