   Have you played Samurai Warriors 2 (PS2, XBOX)? It may sound lame, but   
   this game is what got me very, VERY interested in the warring states   
   period of Japan. My RPing group even based an entire plot arc on it   
   because we became so enamored with this game (actually, the first game   
   was what we were playing at the time, but the second game is much MUCH   
   better than the first, which was horribly flawed an a number of annoying   
   gameplay ways).
