   I got fifty pages into that before I gave up on it. Sheesh. The only other   
   book in the Ender series I was ever able to plow through was "Ender's   
   Shadow", and even that was an amazingly dry and pretentious read.

   Oh, I quite agree. Those are two truly ageless books.   
      
   (Oddly enough, I've also recently had a hankering to reread the "Hank the   
   Cowdog" series, which I originally read back in seventh or eighth   
   grade...those were just plain fun books.)
