   I know this is kinda off-topic, but some people here may be interested,   
   so I'll just post it and set the followup to myself.   
      
   The Japanese government is establishing a policy to take the   
   fingerprints of foreigners entering Japan (similar to the policy   
   established by the US government). Anyone who (like myself) doesn't   
   enjoy being treated like a criminal/suspect for merely visiting a   
   country probably may want to sign this petition for abolition of said
