   Right: VIZ is releasing them here in the U.S., about one volume every three   
   months.   
      
   Hmmm...  At that rate, it will be almost six years before they get to volume   
   56.  Yikes!   
      
   The main reason I stayed with the series this long is that there have been   
   steady signs of progress: the characters have been growing and changing,   
   their relationships keep developing, they make headway in the quest, etc.   
      
   My interest was flagging because every time the party seems to be getting   
   close to the goals of defeating Naraku and collecting all the jewel shards,   
   the goals suddenly move further away.   
      
   Thanks for letting me know that eventually this series will get somewhere:   
   knowing that does get my interest back up.
