   Although Googling this group, it looks like they all got significantly   
   similar reactions.   
      
   Black Lagoon:   
         Damn, this is fun and smarter than it has any right to be.  This   
   perfectly balanced team of violence (Revy), street-smarts (Dutch),   
   technical skills (Benny) and strategy (Rock) leads to some very   
   interesting stories, especially focusing on the why people do things and   
   the deeper motivations.  Man, this is a thinking person's violent anime.   
      
      
   Desert Punk:   
        It's light fun, but I like the art style and world it creates.   
   Reminds me of the good days of Heavy Metal (all 3 days of it).  The   
   story and humor seems more like my favorite independent comic books than   
   your traditional anime/manga.
