|    Red Colored Elegy by Seiichi Hayashi    |

From: bliss@sfo.com               I got lucky and found this at the San Francisco       Public Library Main.               Red Colored Elegy by Seiichi Hayashi 235 pages of       black and white with some color washes, in hardcover by       Drawn and Quarterly depicting the struggle of young       artists working in animation to come to terms with       love and responsiblity.               Seiichi Hayashi born in Manchuria in 1945 published       his first work in Garo, the influential underground comic       magazine. He has worked in film & commercial direction        This is not a comedy so if you are looking to laugh       at your next book this is not the one. On the other hand if       drama is to your taste this has a lot as parents die and       you see the artists struggle with emotion and booze.               later              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
