   	Subtitled The Unreal Life of Robert Johnson by   
   Akira Hiramoto. Published by Del Rey paperbacks in 2005   
   I have just finished the first volume and found it   
   captivating.  It is presented in the original right to left   
   manga format in about 520 finely drawn and reproduced   
   graphic pages.   
   	It has an after-word by Takash "Hotoke" Nagai and an appreciation by   
   Makoto Ayukawa entitled "On Me and the Devil   
   Blues.   
      
   	While the story and the likenesses of Johnson et al   
   are rather modernized and liberties are taken with the   
   traditional Western view of the Robert Johnson story & the known   
   facts this is a fine story.   
      
   	I found this copy at the San Francisco Public Library   
   and it was published 4 years ago at $22.95.
