   Nodame Cantabile is one of the most popular manga   
   for young adults ever penned. It published 23 volumes   
   and sold about 35 million copies. It was also adapted to   
   series of anime, TV drama, live action movies and games.   
   It contributed to popularizing classic music to young   
   people who had never had any interests in the kind of   
   music before as well. Nodame became a social   
   phenomenon in Japan.   
      
   The manga finished at 23th volume with many hints   
   of bright future of characters. Then, some extra   
   chapters seem to have been added. The Opera Arc   
   and Encore, for example. Eventually, it was decided   
   that Ninomiya-san continues to pen Nodame. And   
   I'm very glad to hear the 24th volume was scheduled   
   to be published on 26/Apr.
