   	I was looking for another more expensive book at Borders with   
   a coupon and they didn't have the Otaku Enclopedia so glancing around   
   I spotted this little paperback.

   	Translated by Katy Bridges   
   	Published by Ballantine Books under the DEL REY imprint.

   	It doesn't seem to fit into the Genshiken universe we are used   
   to in anime and manga.   
      
   	The grandson of an industrialist is sent to Shiou University via   
   Helicopter wearing a white uniform and bringing with him his sister.   
   He is established as the Head of the organization supervising on Campus   
   Clubs.  He pulls in the heads of the jock clubs and forms the SS to   
   deal with degenerate art.  He is trying to locate a jizo, sister to the   
   demonic jizo his grandfather found earlier.   
   	After all the other otaku fall victim to an insidious video game   
   and the SS, Madarame becomes a hero.  One of the SS a kendo   
   enthusiast has fallen in love with Ohno and she manages to defeat   
   him with her cosplay sword after he attacks Tanaka but the video   
   game gets both of Ohno and Tanaka.   
      
   	Several parodic anime such as Trouble Chocolate came   
   to mind while reading this tale.   It is an interesting example   
   of the sort of thing that the Japanese are enjoying and I have   
   to say seems to be aimed at Otaku.
