   As a very happy E Ink consumer I do suggest trying them.  Not the small   
   ones like Kindle 2 and the Sony 500 series.  The large format models like   
   the Kindle DX.  They are, in my opinion, very suitable for B&W comics.   
   They're not fantastic for color but they're really no worse than what you   
   get when a publisher prints color plates in B&W.  That's my opinion based   
   on commercial publications like Girl Genius (I buy the PDF editions) and   
   many web comic conversion that I've made for myself.
