Even encode them so that the user had to pay a buck       or two get the code to open them?              >       >> On 06/27/2010 12:50 PM, Starcade wrote:       >>> Wake up and stop justifying stealing the motherfucking product!!       >>       >> Where is the product I have stolen?       >       > Much as I don't want to side with Starcade (judging by his previous       > rants about "child" porn in manga, it sounds like he would prefer to see       > the artists executed at dawn by firing squad... or something), I think       > he was talking in general, and even then, only suggested you justified,       > not participated in theft of manga.               Starcade/darkstar/mike or mikey suffers from a particular       sort of disorientation in that he projects his inner conflicts on the       whole world and particularly the manageable part called Usenet       anime newsgroups.              >       > The fact remains however, that no matter how well intentioned these       > servers are, if they allow the unlicensed download of copyrighted manga,       > they are breaking international copyright law. Are they not enabling the violations more than any down loader       or viewer could do.               And the Oil Spill in Gulf of Mexico is perfectly legal. Which would       you rather have to deal with?              >       >> Japan publish Drama CDs all the time. Serious question!               No I have not as it is such a simple idea that it could occur to anyone       not wedded to the present models of using up wood-pulp for entertainment.       Anyone is free to take the idea and run with it. But will a reasonable       publisher       be found in Japan? I have my doubts when I look at the crop of anime and       manga being published. Starcade is wrong about a lot of things but the       differences between a story directed at children and a story that directs       sexual interest to children is very hard to determine at times but still       drawings on paper or computer don't have to involve any real 3 or 4       dimensional people.               The actress for the character of Jody Rockwell has a distinctly Japanese       accent to her English. This with all the available gaijin in Japan to       do the       work.        The manga was worse either teasing or declaring that her size and       power were the result of crossbreeding a woman and a walrus. No wonder       the manga has never been legally released in the West.              >       >> Mikey I guess I have to put you back in the KF,       >> later       >> bliss               later        bliss              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
