Yes. But she isn't really a new face to Genshiken.

I know a French woman who likes anime and manga. She
wanted to be able to read Japanese original manga books
and came to Japan to study Japanese several years ago.
Now she can speak Japanese, lives in Tokyo and is working
for a Japanese patent office. For the office which handle
international patents and rights, she is very useful
because she can speak French, German, English and Japanese.
Lukily, she is also very fond of Japanese food and culture.

Whatever interests you, chances are up to you. Because Sue
is working for Ogiue as an assistant, she has a chance to be
a mangaka if she can speak Japanese good enough.
