   	Well I just thought it might inspire some lurkers to   
   post if they had simple questions to respond to:   
      
   	Just that. Wat was the first manga you have bought or read.   
      
   	In my case it was the Viz graphic novel of Maison Ikkoku.   
      
   	Did you like it?   
      
   	 I loved it because it cheered me up   
      
   	What happened because of the initial reading?   
      
   	   
   I was inspired to read by the VCR tapes of MI being   
   discontinued.  Also inspired me to get a DVD player and have   
   caused me to spend a good deal of my income on manga, dvds   
   and DVD drives since every PC i have owned has needed one.   
   MI in either form without culture notes lead me to find   
   out what that table was, and so on.  I found it online   
   and in libraries.
