   I've been saying that about anime for over a decade.  The manga   
   publishers (Tokyo Pop in particular) have been following the same glut-   
   the-market strategy that's driven music sales and video sales -- not just   
   anime -- into the ground.  Is it any wonder that the results are   
   identical?
