IIRC It was       popular when it first appeared in Japan because of events in real-world       Judo at that time.       But given the amount of re-cycling of ideas and trend-following that       happens in anime production, a production team might well decide to make       a new sports anime featuring judo with new characters, new setting, new       character names etc and if they do, good luck to 'em.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
