   The anime (or rather its German-dubbed version, Mila Superstar) used to   
   be run on German satellite TV in the kid's cartoon slots. It was   
   repeated in its entirety several times, and I eventually managed to see   
   all the 104 episodes. As you suggest, it's a very good show of its kind.
