   This weekend, 86th Comike is beeing held in Tokyo.   
      
   Comike (Comic Market) has been playing an important role   
   as an incubator of many professional mangaka, ARAKAWA   
   Hiromu (Fullmetal Archemist) for instance, since 1975.   
   It has 35K manga circles and 600K visitors in three days.   
   Although I have never visited Comike, Genshiken   
   vividly describes the event every so often and I can   
   get the sense of it. Ogiue becomes a mangaka in   
   Genshiken and you can see why Japan is so fertile   
   for comic creation.   
      
   By the way, because this is 86th time of Comike,   
   Toyota dispalys Toyota 86, Scion FR-S in the US, to   
   appeal young visitors familiar to "Initial D" manga.   
   This kind of collaboration (or piggyback) seems   
   to be emerging in recent years.
