   Only read a few chapters but this looks very promising. Ume's mother   
   stabbed his big   
   brother after enduring too many beatings at his hands. She is in prison.   
   No father   
   evident. living with his big sister supported by the grandfather's money.   
   Ume is a target for bullies and responds with frightening violence but   
   not enough   
   to discourage his abusers.   
   I have finished the first couple of volumes and hope more shows up soon.   
   I have to say that aikido is one of the martial arts I have paid   
   attention to in   
   the past and I learned to do Ki breathing from one of my therapists who had   
   adopted it from his own studies. Daniel the gaijin instructor and   
   English teacher   
   teachings are right in line with the manuals I have read.
