From: bliss@mouse-potato.com              Hi readers and typers, principally Kenneth M. Lin,               Kenneth raised the question so I will start with what I have loaded.        Kakao 79% a romance I think between childhood friends behind on this.        Otonari Complex a butch girl and a cross-dressing boy are childhood       friends and this is moving closer to confession time.        Himegoto-Juukyuusai no Seifuku a bunch of college students and their       hangups sexual and otherwise.        Sunu Sumu Muriku no Koibito a story orbiting around a TG and her       friends as they try to find ways to make her life more comfortable.        Questionable Content - more students, college and post college, finding       their lives and loves. I started reading it from the beginning       as I came in about 10 years after it started.        Shinshuki Bitter Change - years ago in story time two kids accidentally       knocked their heads together and exchanged consciousnesses.       One is a boy and the other a girl and they have to exchange lives.        Watashi ga Motete Dousunda Manga aka Kiss Him Not Me about a fujoshi       who would rather yaoi her male admirers than have them crush       on her.        Isobe Isobee Monogatari - Ukiyo wa Tsurai yo Manga In this ukiyoe-style       manga, Isobe Isobee is a lazy, slacker samurai with big dreams. Love the       art and only seems to be one chapter up.        Bameur Geonneun Seonbi Manga Seong Yeol is a vampire scholar that has       been hiding from people for many years, letting them believe that he is       an old man with leprosy. The only person he lets enter his place is a       smart bookseller, Yang Sun. Together they will try to fight against a       conspiracy. Think this is either Korean or Chinese but seems       to be set in pre-modern Korea and the bookseller is a girl.        Eagerly awaiting the next release of TOMO-CHAN WA ONNANOKO! Manga aka       Tomo chan is a girl, about a karateka and her boyfriend       and her friends. 4 coma strip with arcs, Tomo and her bf are of       course childhood friends.        Also reading Hidamari no Ki which is now up to chapter 47       online. That is a story from the era when the Tokugawa Shogunate       was weakened and a Samurai and a doctor of Western medicine are       the main characters, though important historical figures show up.        HYOUGEMONO Manga It was the Sengoku-era, when the warlords usurped       each other. There was a man whose soul was overtaken by the       ways of tea and material greed, as he worked his way up toward greater       power and status. His name was Sasuke Furuta and he is the hero as       he swanks it up with Nobunaga, Hideyoshi and I expect Tokugawa       and learns how hard it is to be an aesthete and accomplishes great       things for each in turn. I saw this in the manga shop at the       Kinokuniya mall in Nihon Machi and knew I wanted to read it from       the Japanese version.               Besides the manga I have from the SFPL:        A Graphic Novel called Science Fiction about a middle-aged science       teacher who suddenly decides he has been an alien abductee.        A Yasuhiro Tatsumi manga Fallen Words which seem to be       moral tales about the problems with cheating one way or another        Strange Tides by Christopher Fowler a Bryant and Mayes       detective story featuring the Peculiar Crimes Unit.        And a few Fantasy stories not really worth the mention       which I read on the bus.               So what are the rest of you all reading?               bliss               --       bliss dash SF 4 ever at dslextreme dot com              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
