The manga section of Kinokuniya is always crowded with tourists every time I
visit. I still can't bring myself to spend ten dollars for a regular TPB
and end up walking over to Western Addition library and check out manga from
   there.

I have also seen "remake" Dragonball manga where they hire another artists
to redraw everything aping the original artist. The earlier volumes of
Dragonball are quite raunchy and they tend to edit those sections out for
political correctness. Strangely, they draw everyone in same proportion as
Goku as kid so adult characters are deformed.

   Hi readers and typers,
I found occasion to stop by the Kinokinya manga shop at Webster and
Geary today. I bought nothing today but I wanted to tell you that
   I saw some interesting stuff.
A hard cover Dragonball in Color!
Another hard cover of Battle Angel Alita! Checked the price and BAA is
   at $29.95.
Seem to be lots of classic manga coming out including Gundam
   books.

If you are in the neighborhood I think the manga shop deserves a visit.
Maybe after you pick up Poky at the Ichiban Kan or the Super Mira.
Don't forget to check out the New People building.
