From: kenmlin@aol.com              I haven't visited in few months and was surprised to see that the English        manga section has expanded a lot since my last visit. I don't know if this        is due to higher demands for such manga as San Francisco used to have Barnes        and Noble and Border that sold translated manga years ago and no other        bookstores currently stock such items.              Unfortunately, this also means that they are carrying less of Japanese        manga. They no longer carry those digest-size books that are 300 to 400       pages each and haven't for few years now.              I recall Kinokuniya in San Jose even carrying manga in Chinese. (The        Chinatown branch of the SFPL carries a lot of Chinese manga.)              Ken               --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
