   	This reads like a Classic Comics version of Genji Monogatari.   
   	Lots of notes explaining the Heian Kyo period, dress and manners. Full   
   color.   
   	Seems like it might be a School book translated to manga.   
      
   	If you have not read Murasaki Shikibu's 1000 year old   
   masterpiece this might be a good introduction.  All the student   
   in Japan have to study/read Genji Monogatari.   
   	Occasionally in Shojo works one of the girls will   
   comment on how Prince Genji was not a nice man.
