Haoumaru is the titular character, the panels are full of action, There seem to be at least two main enemies, a European swords person called Charlotte and another, a bandit or demented ronin, who attacks and murders townsfolk. Seems to be in Edo period or the Era of the Civil Wars that preceded it. Haoumaru has a catch phrase "Leave Now!
