From: mikkelhaaheim@gmail.com              Okay. Your link answers my concern for the Isp and thrust issue, but I still       have some concerns for the feed issue. The equation in the link assumes a       chamber pressure at combustion, but this chamber pressure assumes that you are       receiving the full rated        propellant feed rate. The second part of my question was whether or not the       effect of full atmospheric pressure in the engine itself on the pressure feed       rate has been considered.       It is entirely possible (and perhaps probable) that the high pressure of the       propellant would render the atmospheric pressure insignificant, but I would       just like to know if you ran through the numbers for the internal fluid       dynamics.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
