   Well, that's exactly the tradeoff. No, you couldn't Even without being under   
   thrust, the crew generates heat, the life support that keeps them alive   
   generates heat, the power systems that run everything generate heat, and that   
   all has to be dissipated    
   somehow. The best you can do is control WHEN you're releasing heat, and   
   potentially limit how visible it is.
