From: mikkelhaaheim@gmail.com              From the discription, I undrstood that all of the fibres were real space, but       that real space was knotted up into the fibres. If this is incorrect, then the       concept would just be a more or less standard variation to hyperspace. In       fact, functionally, it        would be indistinguishable from the hyperspace variant used in Babylon 5.       Although, it is possible that this concept could be a hybrid of natural warp       and hyperspace, with some strands being normal space, and others being       hyperspace. One variant that        would make it even more interesting would be to have strands of hyperTIME, and       strands of alternate realities. This would actually be quite similar to a       model I've been working on, where all the universe is still contained within       the original singularity,        except that my concept did not have fibres slipping past one another.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
