|    Zika = Zombie Apocalypse?    |
|    19 Aug 16 21:20:31    |
From: nuny@bid.nes               I'm seeing articles linking Zika to cases of paralysis in other countries,       apparently because the virus targets what amount to the stem cells of the       brain. That's why it causes microcephaly- fetal brains are entirely composed       of such cells. In adult        brains they are found in only a couple of place, both associated with learning       and memory.               This latter revelation came from research on mice, and As You Know, Bob,       mice aren't exact models of humans.               So, Zika leaves adults incapable of remembering or learning anything, and       maybe with a hunger for cerebral stem cells...               What could either current Presidential front-runner do that would be worse?       Hell, even WWIII might look like a good idea in the middle of a Zombie       apocalypse.                      Mark L.
