Depends on how much ocean and how deep. If it is in effect all ocean many       kilometers deep, the ocean will stay liquid all the time and you will have       constant large evaporation on the sunlit side and constant large rain and snow       fall on the dark side.        The dark side MIGHT have a large floating ice pack, but ocean currents would       tend to be deep toward the sunlit side and shallow toward the dark side.        Heat causes expansion of water and so lower density, more salt or lower       temperature higher density.        That will drive current flows, local topography will influnce all that.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
