   That's one of the hard things to get used to on the Baen forums.  Baen   
   provides a few dozen forums discussing their books, authors and some   
   generic stuff and provides these forums on a Usenet server.  But the   
   culture there requires top-posting.   
      
   So I have two instances of my Usenet reader.  This one, pointed to the   
   smoking remains of Usenet, expects bottom or inter-posting.  The other   
   one, still dynamic, expects top-postings and a lot less trimming.
