From: adam.w.krajewski@gmail.com              Well, the setting is... Weird.        First off, I created it when I was reading Lord of the Rings books, and       simultaneously reading Atomic Rockets. After that I played with Lego, and       cause I didn't want to play two different stories, I connected it.        On the east side of Arda, the Lotr Earth, live dwarves, humans and elves just       like on the west, in Middle-Earth. But because there aren't many magical       enemies to deal with, the technological progress is unhampered. The primary       roles are in hands of        Dwarves and Humans, who create United Dwarven-Human Empire (UDHE). They start       exploring space, find two Earth-like, or in this case, Arda-like, planets. But       for many nations inhabiting Arda and these two planets, that's not enough, so       they explore beyond        the system (Also, the closest planetary system to Arda is closer than Proxima       Centauri to Earth, stars are tightly packed in my universe).        They terraform, create new colonies, "Build better worlds" in overall. But       although in Arda system there weren't many uprisings and wars between The       Three (maybe that's a good name for them :p), in the outside it's different.       Colonists are creating their        own nationality, more worlds start to burn, and even more "alien" dangers       appear.        And here comes United Dwarven-Human Empire Colonial Marines Corp.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
