From: adam.w.krajewski@gmail.com              Ships and weapons       Navy - interstellar travel based on antimatter powered tugs, that transport       the warships, cargo modules etc. So the ship is just a drive + truss structure       + line that connects it to cargo, and cargo module is modular. Warships that       hang on it are fusion        powered, for now my main concept is a multirole Sulaco-like craft, that can       ship troops from parking orbit of tug to orbit of attacked planet, and also       have capability to perform orbital bombardments and fight enemy ships. Weapons       - KE anti ship missiles,        missiles with kinetic and nuclear warheds for bombing planets, coilguns, and       lasers for point defense. I would also like PBWs to be somewhere in the       setting, but I don't know how viable they are. Any thoughts?       Colonial Marines - light vehicles, designed to fit into cargo bays of       spaceships and shuttles, light tanks, armored cars and mine resistant APCs.               --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
