From: adam.w.krajewski@gmail.com              Thanks for all answers, I will read through all links when I have some time.        One thing I have to say now, is that I don't think it's neccesary to launch       multiple missiles with mass million of tons each. That seems a bit too much,       especially when at certain velocity energy starts to be equal to       matter-antimatter anihilation energy,        so 1 million tons of mass would be like 43000000 gigatons at 0.86 c. That's       kindoff a lot... Even 1000 tons makes 43000 gigatons bang, that's still a lot.       Make it a shotgun, shower entire side of planet and shockwave + change of       climate kills everything.        There can be even less mass used I think, but I need to check it using       nukemap or something.        Interesting idea about the detection system that uses antimatter, could be       used for a good story, a system surrounded by antimatter and having just a few       entry points for incoming interstellar cargo...              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
