XPost: rec.arts.sf.written, comp.ai.philosophy, comp.society.futures       From: Simon.Laub@mail.tele.dk              Back in 2010 I posted a Space Travel Quiz       (in this forum) based on Julian Bagginis       thoughts about immortality and futuristic Space Travel       (See Bagginis book: "Do You Think What You Think You Think").              The world has moved quite a bit since then,       so an updated version of the quiz is long overdue...              Interstellar space travel is going to take a special       breed of travellers, so, surely, there should still be       a test for the right stuff somewhere on the internet!              The new version is based on JavaScript, whereas       the old version was Flash based. So that       in itself should be a nice update,       that should make the quiz more easily accessible.              Please don't pay too much attention to the rather silly point system in       the quiz. The crux of the whole thing is of course       the questions (Where some are,       still, directly inspired by the Baggini book).              Enough said, here is the test:       http://simonlaub.net/Post/2018/SpaceTravelQuiz/spacetravelquiz.html              ps.        While I was at it. I also       made a Monty Hall Game and Simulation       (famous probability teaser):              http://simonlaub.net/Post/2017/MontyHall/montyhall.html              The old version of the STQ can be found here:        >       http://www.simonlaub.net/FutureMinds/NeuroSky/Predictions/MarsTrip/index.html        >        >        > More on future predictions - see:        > http://www.simonlaub.net/FutureMinds/NeuroSky/Predictions/longbet.htm                     Followup: rec.arts.sf.written              -Simon              Simon Laub              www.simonlaub.net              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
