     You're assuming that satellites are invulnerable but they aren't. The US is   
   not the only country with fighter-launched ASAT missile technology. Plus   
   there's the X-37.

     For one of two reasons.   
      
   1. No country does that.   
      
   2. At least one country does but doesn't tell anyone.   
      
     I have no idea how to tell which is right.
