With the exception of the UK,       where we know what the actual ratings were...and even then they       are only guesstimates at the end of the day. Nobody knows how       well "Doctor Who" did for Disney+ in its territories.              I did read somewhere that the "Doctor Who" 2024 Christmas       special did very well for Disney+ in Australia and New Zealand,       but with no official streaming figures published it's all       hearsay... and doing well on a streaming service that people       have to pay for is relative as it wouldn't be the same as doing       well on a traditional TV channel with wider audience exposure.              The only way we'll know for sure if Disney were happy with       "Doctor Who" is if they choose to order more episodes/seasons of       the show from the BBC.              --- SoupGate-DOS v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
