   Even if that were true, it would just mean that your interpretation   
   was the same as the author’s, that you interpreted it in the intended   
   way. But that’s still interpretation. Interpreting something right   
   is still interpreting it. The author’s intended interpretation is still an   
   interpretation.   
      
   (And you’ve no evidence that this was the author’s intended   
   interpretation anyway.)
