   It's not clear to me why Gunn thought Tom King's take on Supergirl was   
   the one he wanted to use in the DCU, but the bigger problem is, if there   
   is any adherance to standard continuity, Supergirl knew Superman's parents,   
   and for that matter, lived on Krypton until she was a teen and could easily   
   set him straight on their message.
