Disney on the other hand showed zero creative       ability in the "Sequel Trilogy", although some of the TV shows and       other spin-off movies have been better.                            >> and stupidly called them a "Sequel Trilogy",       >       > "Sequel Trilogy" was being used in fandom long before Disney came       > along. So Disney did not coin that term. (I don't know who did though.)              Disney simply took the original movies and lazily rehashed them with       extra Politically Correct nonsense. They laughingly called them a       "Sequel Trilogy", when in reality they were just lazy remakes.              George Lucas was already working on his own Sequel Trilogy when he sold       out to Disney. His version was a bit better, although reportedly       brought back Darth Maul, which is a silly idea, but later re-used for       the animated series.                            >> plus of course Disney's continual laziness in doing 'live-action'       >> remakes of all their animated movies.       >       > Guilty!       >       > Although for 'live action' read CGI animated... i.e. there were no real       > Lions in "The Lion King" remake (etc.)              Depends on which remade movie it is. Some are pure CGI and some are CGI       / live-action mix. There may even be a couple that are all live-action,       but I've never bothered to watch any of them to know for sure.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
